Celebrating Milestones: 1,000 Point Scorers in California Part 2

Coaches often ask about a prospect "Can they go get a bucket?" For these five players, it's a pretty easy and resounding "Yes!" to that question. As the high school season comes to a close, and we move to AAU season these 5 players left their mark in a number of ways for their squads this season. Read more below to find out who these bucket getters are (multiple 2026 and unsigned) and how they got it done this year.    Lauren is a prolific 3 level scorer who can light it from behind the arc. The milestones keep accumulating in her already impressive career as she surpassed 1,000 points, 1,000 rebounds AND 500 three pointers made this season. Absolute sharpshooter with the ability to get hot! She had multiple games with 5+ three pointers during Faith Christian's playoff run to capture the Northern California Regional D6 Title. She continues to put herself on the map as one of the top 2026 scorers in the state.     Nyemah should be on this list twice because she surpassed 2,000 points in her career this season! Averaging double digits for 4 straight years, she's proven to be a relentless, consistent bucket. She attacks the basket with purpose and creativity + has a soft touch and ability to finish at the rim or with a short float/pull up. Her length, athleticism and effort on defense consistently puts her in position for deflections, steals and easy transition opportunities to score. Immediate impact player at the 4 year level!     Adrya is one of the top 2026 shooters in the state and arguably the country! Her 157 made three's this season put her #3 in the nation, and #2 in the state! Very efficient shooter (35+%), with a balanced approach and quick release off the catch or bounce. Has the ability to get hot and showed she can hit a big shot when needed. In true hooper fashion she dropped 30 the night she surpassed 1,000 points! High ceiling, good decision making combo guard.     This Gonzaga Bound guard had a huge year, surpassing 1,500 points in late February. Julia got busy this season stacking 22 games with 20+ and 7 games with 30+. She has a very fluid jumper + can hit you from behind the arc or a quick pull up. Drives with purpose and vision to find others. Crafty and productive finisher around the rim. High IQ offensively to find and exploit mismatches.     As the only traditional post on the list, Zoey has been getting it done by rim running, working tremendously hard on the glass and finishing everything around the rim. She averaged a double/double (15pt/12reb) for the second year in a row! Efficient post player with great feet! Displayed a nice spin move going both ways + soft touch around the basket. Can finish on both sides of the rim and showed a nice short hook shot. Works super hard on the glass + keeps the ball high on offensive rebounds. If she catches with her back to basket, good luck!
