More Wisconsinites to Watch in Romeoville in 15U

However, I liked what she did at last year's Freshman Showcase. The 5'8 wing has some physicality at her age and has the skill set to take kids off the dribble at her age level. McQueeney stepped into a reserve role and did plenty of positive things in her minutes. She didn't take many difficult shots, controlled the offense well, and kept things flowing. The 5'10 Viking plays like her hair's on fire and does an excellent job rebounding for her position. Martinez compliments her teammates' games by doing all the dirty work rebounding, flying all over the place for loose balls, and being a kid who moves the ball with a purpose. The 6'0 post-player from Pius XI is a mobile kid who wants to get up and down the floor and has a solid enough motor to be a good rebounder. There are some youthful mistakes when finishing around the rim and trying to go too fast, but she's getting herself in the positions she needs to be in to thrive. I like where she's at.
