The PGH Victory Region Kickoff starts tomorrow, and there will be more Wisconsin-based programs there than I can remember from my last three years at the event. Today, we'll look at some of the talent at the 15U level who'll be in Romeoville.

We didn't see Rabach much in her first season at Edgewood, but as a newcomer with most of the team that had recently won a State Title, it was difficult to crack that rotation last season. However, I liked what she did at last year's Freshman Showcase. The 5'8 wing has some physicality at her age and has the skill set to take kids off the dribble at her age level. We may not have seen her much during the high school campaign, but we could see a productive version of her this weekend and the rest of the AAU season.

Monona Grove had most of a rotation to reconfigure, and they got a new head coach in the process, granted it was their assistant for a few years. McQueeney stepped into a reserve role and did plenty of positive things in her minutes. She didn't take many difficult shots, controlled the offense well, and kept things flowing. I thought she was everything you'd hope a reserve guard would be, and I'm eager to see her continue to expand her game this AAU season.

The Wisconsin Lutheran wing didn't play much in her first high school season, and even though she rarely saw the floor, she's one of my favorite kids to watch in her class. The 5'10 Viking plays like her hair's on fire and does an excellent job rebounding for her position. Martinez compliments her teammates' games by doing all the dirty work rebounding, flying all over the place for loose balls, and being a kid who moves the ball with a purpose. Her selflessness will help her earn minutes at the high school level in the coming years, and even if coaches don't have her on their radar now, her name will eventually pop up around offices, and she'll find a place to play at the next level if she wants to continue her basketball career.

The physical tools are there for Jackson. The 6'0 post-player from Pius XI is a mobile kid who wants to get up and down the floor and has a solid enough motor to be a good rebounder. There are some youthful mistakes when finishing around the rim and trying to go too fast, but she's getting herself in the positions she needs to be in to thrive. I like where she's at. I'll follow her progress along with 24:Up.
