The talent Jackson has is undeniable, and you can see flashes of what she can be when she’s at her best. She has the tools to be a mismatch hunter and score from all three levels offensively. Jackson is also comfortable handling the ball and creating her shot off the dribble. She had her moments in a competitive game this morning and showed flashes of what she could be at her best. She will be a player to keep tabs on over the next year. She has all the tools to take another step at any moment.

The talent is there for the Pius wing to be an impactful two-way player, and we see glimpses of that now and again. On the road against Brookfield East, Jackson scored an easy-looking double and took advantage of what the defense gave her, and crashed the offensive glass. She can be a mismatch nightmare at her best, and she’s slowly putting everything together. I like where things are trending with her.

Jackson had standout performances when I watched her play in the spring. The 6’0 forward from Pius has the skill to play on the perimeter and create shots for herself, and plays with enough force to establish herself around the basket. Now that the backcourt for the Popes isn’t among the best in the state, Lillee and her twin sister, Lizzie, could have breakout seasons at Pius.

One of the more talented players at Romeoville this weekend. From all angles on the court, she was dominant in the games that I got to watch. She can knock down the long ball, and she can make plays for her teammates in the open court as well as the half. Strong upside.

The physical tools are there for Jackson. The 6’0 post-player from Pius XI is a mobile kid who wants to get up and down the floor and has a solid enough motor to be a good rebounder. There are some youthful mistakes when finishing around the rim and trying to go too fast, but she’s getting herself in the positions she needs to be in to thrive. I like where she’s at. I’ll follow her progress along with 24:Up.
