Throughout their high school careers, these young ladies raised the standard and eclipsed new heights. It has truly been a joy to cover them as they leave such a legacy on these Tennessee hardwood floors. As I go back and recap a few kids, I just want to say thank you to all the 2025 kids. You guys are truly a special group of young ladies who will go on and do great things. Even when the tide was turning, she kept battling, taking it to the rack to try and get And1 calls. Her ability to command an offense as well as just feed the hot hand, was incredible. Every time I saw Harmonie hoop, she would do it with ease. Don't get me wrong, she was working hard, but how she exploited the defense was crazy. She would set her opponent up to make advantageous shot opportunities for herself. Then, she would turn around and lock up on the defensive end. How this young lady went from a back-to-the-basket kind of girl to someone who could stretch the floor is amazing. Her ability to dominate the interior and just play physical always provided her team an edge in every contest. Any time she was on the floor, you knew something good was gonna happen. No one could play with her when she got into her jump shot. It was like she would float above the opposition, having a clear look at the basket. Joya played the game with speed and poise, getting into her shot with a quick release. She, too, would lock up on the defensive end, causing fits for opponents. Every time I saw this young lady play, she always had a double-double along with a few blocks and steals. She possesses an all-around game that will be heading to Columbus, Ohio, next fall. Though she was known for her offensive prowess, she too would lock up on the defensive end, anticipating, getting steals and blocks by the boat load. Her size gave her the advantage as she knew how to utilize it to give her an edge. This kid is a phenomenal talent and one who will go to Ohio State looking to push for court time early.<br><br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
