17u Saturday Standouts Dynasty Region Kickoff

Listed are 5 players that stood out with their play on both ends of the floor. Standing out is not all about points but what you bring sometimes. Handled the ball under pressure getting her team set up in the right situations to score. Showed shooting range beyond the 3 point line. Attached the rim several times finishing with a nice running floater to avoid the block. Nice shoots off the bounce setting the defender up then hit them with a quick move for the 3 point shot. Excellent job of getting to the paint off the wing drive pulling up right at the free throw line for the mid range jumper. Tough defender that consistently got a deflection or steal with her pressure. On offense she continue to find ways to get to the rim for scoring opportunities . Finished the drives strong using either hands and at times hit the running floater off the glass for the finish. Pushed the tempo with the ball and eyes hitting the rim runner several times for the layups. Relentless pressure defensively the whole game while creation turnovers after turnovers. Nice outside shot that demanded respect leading to several blow byes on the poor closeouts. Worked best in open floor transition on offense attacking and reading the defense for the correct decisions. Great lateral quickness staying low and long covering a great amount of floor space. Understood the. Press and rotated in the right spots for the steals.
