The Legacy Region Kick-Off started last night, and a few kids played well in the three-game slots we had rolling on Friday. Let's talk about a few of those kids before the games start on Saturday morning.

[player_tooltip player_id='772587' first='Abigail' last='Tassoul']

The De Pere native started her AAU season better than anyone hoped. Tassoul made a few triples in the first few minutes of her [program_tooltip program_id='713127' first='Wisconsin' last='Legends'] team's games and was the source of offense in the first portion. She found ways to make some things happen with the ball in her hands and was aggressive from start to finish. In her first game of the AAU season, she turned some heads. Tassoul could surprise people this spring and summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='624854' first='Gracee' last='Langer']

The physicality that Langer brings to the floor elevates the ceiling of any five-person lineup. The Edgerton forward did an excellent job rebounding the ball in traffic and scored around the basket. Langer has solid touch around the basket and showed that all night. The junior knocked down a perimeter shot to keep defenses honest. I loved what she brought last night, and she'll be a kid whose small schools in the region will have some interest in her this summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='914978' first='Alexis' last='Accuardi']

You could always tell that Accuardi had talent, but sometimes frontcourt kids like the DeForest native take time to put everything together, and Accuardi did that last night. The Let it Rain forward showed in the high school season that she could play around the basket and defend around the rim, which she did. However, I thought she defended the rim well and showed how versatile her offensive game can be. There's a chance that Accuardi can turn some heads this summer if she plays like she did last night. I loved what she brought to the floor, and I'm sure plenty of college coaches would whenever they see her play.

[player_tooltip player_id='888387' first='Lana' last='Mannetter']

The [program_tooltip program_id='713043' first='Wisconsin' last='Impact'] wing is among the best kids I've seen at attacking the rim, and her ability to get to the basket and finish is as good as anyone in the state, which says a lot. Mannetter is quicker than you'd think, and no matter what defenses do, Mannetter finds ways to attack the basket and put points on the board. The Westosha Central wing will be someone who will turn some heads of P4 coaches at some point this summer.
