Injuries have hindered Mannetter from getting as extended a run as she would have liked in her first few high school seasons, the latest being a knee injury that ended her sophomore career before it started. However, you won’t find many kids with her athletic and physical tools, with the skill she has in her game. I’d say she is the best player in her class at attacking the basket and finishing around the rim. Her strength and lateral quickness have also indicated that she could be an intriguing defensive prospect at the next level. I’m eager to see her back on the floor next season for Westosha Central.

The Southeast Wisconsin native had a successful season. However, it was interrupted by injuries. Mannettter does an excellent job of attacking the basket and gets to the rim as well as anyone else in her Class. Mannetter has a knack for getting to the basket and putting an immense amount of pressure on a defense’s back line. She could potentially lead a deep postseason run with her Westosha Central group next season.

The 6-footer is blessed with tons of length and the kind of natural athleticism you don’t see every day. Lana looks every bit the part of a future Division I wing. Ranked No. 3 in Wisconsin’s 2028 class, she holds D1 offers and it’s easy to see why. Mannetter has elite measurables, a polished skill set, and a silky shooting stroke from deep. She runs the floor gracefully, uses her wingspan as a defensive weapon, and attacks size mismatches with zest. Lana plays with maturity, confidence, and versatility – a high-ceiling athlete who makes it all look natural.

Mannetter was one of the best players in the building all game. From a scoring standpoint she did it from every angle and spot on the court. She showed great vision, discipline and ball security as well. Defensively.. she covers 1 through 5. High potential.

Lana Mannetter has every natural gift to be a next level player at several places across the Country once she gets to that stage in her career. Mannetter demonstrated length, a fundamental skill set across the board in everything she did, and natural athletic ability compared to most others. She understands that she has size advantages all over the floor in most matchups and she uses that size to make simple shots over smaller defenders. Her reach also lets her switch onto multiple types of opponents on defense. She can stick with someone smaller or she can wall up in the post against someone who may have more height and muscle. Bottom line – This is a scholarship prospect. If she keeps working, she is going to have a bright future on the hardwood for years to come.

The Westosha Central wing had her season cut short due to an injury, but the talent is there. Few kids in Wisconsin can attack the rim at the level Mannetter can, and she’s still in her first year of high school. The potential is there, and coaches outside of the live period may not even bother because her ceiling is that high. Mannetter is a talented kid who’ll be one of the better players at the entire event. She may still be working her way back from that injury, but she’ll make plays few others can if she plays, even if she’s not 100%.

The Westosha Central wing is another kid with extraordinary talent in this 2028 class. I’d argue that she’s the best slasher in her class in Wisconsin. She can attack off the dribble as well as anyone, and she’s comfortable getting downhill in any situation. She’s been a reliable scoring option for the Falcons in her first high school season and has the tools to continue to improve.

has an excellent three-point shooting ability and consistently shoots at a high percentage. She has a very quick release and impressive shooting range which she showcased during her first week on the varsity team at the Beaver Dam Classic. In a game against Columbus, she made four three-pointers contributing to a 29-point performance. Mannetter also handles the ball well and can bring it up the court on a fast-break with speed. She excels at finishing through contact and utilizes it to her advantage. She also demonstrated the ability to score with both hands. Lana is skilled at maneuvering through defenders near the rim and has a very high basketball IQ which is evident in her decision-making on the court. She has stood out as a freshman and really impressed me with her natural transition to the varsity game.
