How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

AJ is a playmaking guard who thrives in transition, always keeping her head up to make the right play. She’s a capable shooter off screens and in catch-and-shoot situations, and continues to develop her off-the-dribble scoring. AJ is at her best when she’s aggressive—attacking closeouts and pushing the tempo.

AJ is passionate about the game and committed to continuous growth. She’s highly competitive and is learning to harness that drive to elevate her team. Her love for learning and improving stands out in everything she does.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Over the past year, AJ has shown significant growth in how she handles adversity. Where frustration once led to fouls or loss of focus, she now channels that emotion into supporting her teammates—through encouragement, high fives, and defensive energy. She’s learned to lead even when things don’t go her way, showing real maturity and leadership development.

Earlier this week, Jones caught the eye of a fellow PGH contributor with her camp/three point shooting contest performer. So why not check some recent footage to help paint a fuller picture of the northern Oklahoma prospect. To go along with the noted shooting ability, she looks like a well drilled guard. With a good handle, and scores well in the 6-12 foot range. Either floaters or pull ups. Nice spark and burst of havoc causing with some defensive clips as well. Well rounded guard to keep tabs on as the Class of 2028 continues to develop.
