Lewis is a consistent perimeter shooter who can spot up from anywhere on the arc and quickly get into her release when teammates find her. While the three is her strong suit, she can also create off the dibble, attack when the shot isn’t there and pull up in the mid-range, while making cuts to score around the basket. She also uses anticipation and active hands defensively to jump passing lanes and turn steals into fast break layups.

Ryan is a good spot-up 3-point shooter from the corners and wings, with a high release point that makes it difficult for defenders to contest her shot. She does a good job getting into the mid-range, stopping on a dime and knocking down pull-up jumpers. She also has a nice fadeaway around the paint. Defensively, Ryan uses her length and anticipation to jump into passing lanes and generate steals.

The tools are all there. Elite length on the wing, a smooth shooting stroke, and a motor that doesn’t quit — she checks every box you look for in a high-upside prospect. When she heats up, she can take over a game in a hurry, and her ability to run the floor and impact the game defensively makes her more than just a scorer. Expect her to be a difference maker wherever she suits up this summer.

The second-year guard struggled early but exploded after halftime, dominating on both ends of the floor. She opened the third quarter with a corner three-pointer and stayed hot, draining three more from beyond the arc to cap off an impressive performance. Lewis connected on five total three-pointers for the game. Beyond her sharpshooting against aggressive zone defense, she also contributed significantly on the defensive glass and in transition defense.

Lewis set a strong defensive tone early in the game. Despite her smaller stature, she uses her wingspan and lateral mobility to effectively guard larger opponents. Her perimeter defense is solid as well. On offense, she’s an intelligent player who moves purposefully without the ball and knocks down open shots. Lewis demonstrates high basketball IQ by running inside-out sets patiently, allowing her teammates to be aggressive rather than forcing the issue, and consistently exploiting defensive breakdowns.
