Crestwood and Air Minnesota AAU has a knock down shooter in PG -[player_tooltip player_id='1220768' first='Mea' last='Shelton']. Shelton is another with confidence and that's what you need to be good in this sport. She is always willing to let it fly from behind the three point line but at the same time, she doesn't seem to settle. She really likes to start her team's offense with a pass, then she will move to a corner for a catch-and-shoot three. You saw this time and time again on the high school floor this past Winter. For her AAU squad, she is showing a little more of her versatility. She is getting things going on defense and letting that flow into her offense at the hoop. From the looks of it, Shelton is a college level shooter with a game that is still growing. If she gets seen by the right staff, I'm sure she will thrive at the next level.

This article is labeled as individuals turning heads and that's exactly what Keniya Todd has been doing with her 16U Mac Irvin Fire Team. Todd has the length, strength, athletic ability, grit, and toughness that every coach loves to see out on the hardwood. Not to mention, she is pretty skilled on both ends. She has multiple moves to beat her opponent offensive but she doesn't over-do it. While also being a menace defense with how she can protect the middle. I've watched Todd progress for a few years now and she is becoming better every time I see her during AAU season. Not sure where she will end up for college at the end of the day but I'm sure she is going to have some options.

Mya Wilson just put together an impressive weekend in Waukee with her [program_tooltip program_id='712377' first='All' last='Iowa Attack'] EYBL AAU program. Wilson, a 6'1 CG, demonstrated her ability to rebound and take it coast-to-coast for bucket after bucket in the middle of the lane. Sometimes even hitting an AND1 attempt because no one steps up to stop her. Being the size she is and how well Wilson moves, she stands out anytime she takes the floor and that's been no different this Spring. She is killing it and it's noticeable.

[player_tooltip player_id='920271' first='Addyson' last='Farris'] is a hooper that some might want to put on their radar moving into the Summer. Farris is a SG with a lot of confidence. She can adapt in real-time but really stands out while attacking the opponent off the dribble. She is coordinated, smart, and that along with the confidence makes for someone that could grow in this game over-time. This Spring Farris has had a solid start to her AAU season and I'm sure she is going to grow on that. She has the foundation. Now she has to continue to keep putting in that work.

Coming off of her best high school season to date, [player_tooltip player_id='766456' first='Malaina' last='Hackley'] has started off things running this past few weeks. In Waukee last weekend, Hackley was dishing out assists off the drive and lining up shots from the catch around the outside. Whenever she would catch she would get down-hill in a hurry, looking to find a fellow teammate in stride. This strategy worked a good amount of the time as she beat her opponents down the floor and try to set up anyone else that might be with her. All in all, it's been a respectable start to Hackely's AAU season on the road. If she continues to have showings like this, she is going to like it might lead to in the recruiting aspect of things.
