Todd continues to shine on the defensive end, even while the offensive side is still growing. A player who can guard 1 through 3 and bring that kind of energy every time out is not something coaches pass up. The frame is long, the athleticism is easy to see, and it will be interesting to watch how the offensive side continues to come along.

Todd falls into the category of a true two way player, and the fact that she brings the same level of energy on both ends at this age makes her development path that much smoother as she continues to grow in the game. Her skill set is versatile, and when you pair that with her length and athleticism, you get a player who is only scratching the surface of her potential as both a skilled prospect and a high level athlete.

Todd has been on a tear since she got into high school, and now she’ll be the main focal point for his new program. She’ll have 3-5 sets of eyes on her every night, and though some players might not be able to deal with it, that will not be Todd’s case. This kid is dominant and aggressive on both sides of the ball. And if the offers provide a clear view of her potential, this move could be a showing of another level of her game.

The offers rolled in this summer, and I don’t believe they’ll slow down at all. Keniya is one of those prospects where you see how hard she plays even before you notice the skillset, and then when you dissect her skillset, you realize her potential is sky high. She has the length, the energy, and the mindset to control a game on both sides of the ball.. and when you make your mark on the boards too, it also shows how hard you’re willing to play to win. This kid has that attitude and that drive to be great.

One of the more versatile players in this class, and I truly believe she’s only been playing off pure athleticism and feel, which says a lot because there are moments in her game where you see how skilled she is at her age. She’s a part of a big 3 at Dunlap that could easily compete with anyone in the state, and I think this year she could be that unguardable presence simply based on her size and versatility.

Todd’s name preceded her, as I received an assist a few weeks ago, yet let me say this: her ceiling has no roof, and she’s not only “long and athletic” but, at times, ultra athletic. She defied gravity to score around the basket, she gave me some acrobatic finishes, but watching her play the passing lane as well as pick pockets was impressive, as she does it instinctively. Todd has been making a name for herself over the past couple of years, and after a strong high school season, she picked up right where she left off and brought that same level of play to AAU. Yes she can score, but it is her defense and IQ that will really catch coaches’ attention. This kid has a ton of potential.

This article is labeled as individuals turning heads and that’s exactly what Keniya Todd has been doing with her 16U Mac Irvin Fire Team. Todd has the length, strength, athletic ability, grit, and toughness that every coach loves to see out on the hardwood. Not to mention, she is pretty skilled on both ends. She has multiple moves to beat her opponent offensive but she doesn’t over-do it. While also being a menace defense with how she can protect the middle. I’ve watched Todd progress for a few years now and she is becoming better every time I see her during AAU season. Not sure where she will end up for college at the end of the day but I’m sure she is going to have some options.

Todd has speed, and more speed! She makes opposing teams uncomfortable with her pressure defense. Keniya is a scoring guard that plays with poise, and she knows how to find routes to the basket! The sky is the limit for Todd!

Todd is a part of this amazing freshman Dunlap class, and what she brings to the table cant be missed is her length and athleticism. On both ends of the floor, its notable how she separates herself from others on the court. She attacks the rim with aggression, reads passes well before they happen, and has a knack for finding ways to get her shot off. Strong potential.
