Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I see the court well. I feel that assists are just as important as scoring points myself.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I am a people person. I make friends wherever I go. I love to encourage people to push themselves or see someone succeed when they were doubtful they could do it. I love to have fun, but I also know when it’s time to lock in.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am a Honor Society member. I am active in my youth group at First Methodist. I was awarded two prestigious awards at my school, the Kirsten Dean Award for good character. And the Doyle Kinsaul Award for leadership and excellence both on and off the court.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I feel that with my youth group and alongside being a volunteer at an adult special needs camp, it has taught me to always want to give back to my community and to always make everyone feel special.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
As an 8th grader I started on Varsity Basketball, Volleyball, and softball. I was able to see how some of my older teammates treated the underclassmen and, while some were great, others were not. In those moments, I knew that I wanted to be a leader and to lift up my teammates and friends, not be over critical and unsupportive.
