Sabino comes in at #1. They are currently undefeated, have been blowing teams out, and will likely remain undefeated throughout the regular season. They also beat some of the best teams that 6A has to offer: Chaparral, Pinnacle, and Chandler.
#2 Perry 4-0 (6A)
Perry comes in at a very close #2! Perry is one of the deepest teams in the state and have come out the gate strong. Sabino and Perry could potentially match up in the Nike TOC. That game could shake things up.
#3 Millennium 4-1 (5A)
Millennium comes in at #3. They are a very deep team and will likely dominate 5A. However, I think Sabino or Perry could potentially beat them.
#4 Hamilton 6-0 (6A)
Hamilton comes in at a very close #4 spot. I went back and forth between 3 and 4 and would absolutely love to see these squads match up against each other.
#5 Valley Vista 6-1 (6A)
Valley Vista could see a big jump in the all-state Rankings here very soon! While they are currently #5, don’t be shocked if you see them jump into the top 3.
#6 Seton Catholic 4-0 (4A)
Seton is our #6 team and they are currently #1 in 4A. Seton has a lot of talented players and a lot of young players. They could be really special this season and for seasons to come! A big team win came this week as they beat last years 4A Champs, Shadow Mountain.
#7 Shadow Mountain 8-1 (4A)
Shadow Mountain comes in at #7. They are a very talented team no doubt, but the state is full of talented teams. Losing to Seton really dropped them in the rankings.
#8 Chandler 8-1 (6A)
Chandler has been doing good things this season and we’ll see how things shake out once region play hits. The Premier region could really shake up the rankings since all of the teams in the region are contenders.
#9 Sahuaro 7-0 (4A)
Sahuaro comes in at #9 behind the play of Alyssa Brown. No offense to their team but I think they go as far as Brown takes them. Since I see them relying heavily on one player, they get ranked a tad bit lower.
#10 Saguaro 6-1 (4A)
Saguaro is probably the surprise team of the year, behind the play of Amayah Kirkman. Kirkman recently moved to AZ from Washington and has put up some huge numbers!
