Briyonna West was one of the most clutch performers of Day 1. She played with poise all game, and when the pressure hit its peak, she delivered-every time. She knocked down a timely threes, followed by a smooth mid-range shot. Her ability to perform under pressure, showed a maturity and competitive nature. What made her even more impressive was the feel she plays with — reading the floor, understanding the moment, and delivering when her team needed it the most. West was a play maker and a game change and one of the top players on the floor.

West is a perimeter threat with the skillset to take the next step this season. She has the confidence to knock down outside shots and the athleticism to defend on the ball. West is effective pushing in transition and attacking gaps.

She scored from all areas of the floor, with her three-point shooting and her transition play that produced some highlight-worthy moments. West consistently beat defenders off the dribble and finished with confidence. On the defensive end, she was just as impactful, jumping passing lanes, forcing turnovers, and playing with an edge that disrupted her opponents.

Bri caught fire from beyond the arc against GAC. West buried five threes off the catch en route to 17 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal. Bri could be on the verge of a breakout season after shooting just 1-31 from beyond the arc last season, averaging 1.9 points per game.
