got downhill to the rim, and more importantly, she finished when she got there. A few weeks ago, Jones showed her three-point range and efficiency. This week, she showed the versatility to put the ball down and finish at the rim against taller players. Jones showed quickness and versatility in her game. Defensively, she was impressive at the top of the press, getting steals and forcing turnovers.

, played far bigger than her size and proved to be the emotional heartbeat of her team. Despite possibly being the smallest player on the floor, she competed with tremendous toughness and confidence. Jones defended aggressively on the ball and in passing lanes, communicated constantly with teammates, and embraced a vocal leadership role. One play that comes to mind- a pass went inside to the big and the big didn’t recognize that Jones was wide open for the three. Jones called for the ball and hit nothing but the bottom of the nets. She showed confidence shooting the three, driving to the rim, and defending on the ball. Jones brought an edge and intensity that impacted her entire team- the definition of a leader.

showed flashes of her all-around game, knocking down a three, making a smart backdoor pass, and fitting seamlessly into the offensive set. What stood out most was her patience and ability to play within the flow, a sign of her growing maturity on the floor. This season, she’ll spend time anchoring the JV group while also getting opportunities on varsity behind a strong senior class. That balance will allow her to develop at her own pace — gaining confidence and reps on JV while learning from experienced teammates at the varsity level.

played with the energy she’s known for, standing out as a young leader. Jones attacked the rim with confidence, created opportunities for teammates, and showed playmaking instincts beyond her age. With several transfers from last year’s team, Jones will be more than a role player. She will be asked to put points on the board and also be a playmaker who gets her teammates involved. With Jones’s style of play, she will be able to do both. Defensively, Jones does a good job of using her quickness in the passing lanes and will be a playmaker on that end of the court as well.

is as tough as they come. She doesn’t mind putting herself in position to force turnovers, and on several plays ball handlers thought they had her beat, but she recovered quickly to force turnovers and even draw what could have been called charges. No matter how hard she was hit, she got right back up and played even harder. At one point in 3v3, she guarded two different players on a switch, forced the turnover, and then immediately knocked down a three. Jones’s ability to shoot the three off the catch, finish through contact and high off the glass, combined with her high-intensity defense, makes her a must-see player.

is lightning-quick—probably still faster than most players even while dribbling. Her explosive first step consistently catches defenders off guard, and teams with late rotations can’t recover before she’s already at the rim. Her speed also fuels her defense, allowing her to jump passing lanes and quickly turn steals into transition offense. If defenders try to sag off to neutralize her speed, she can knock down shots off the catch, and after blowing by them a few times, she uses her jab step to set up her jumper. With this combination of speed, skill, and scoring versatility, Jones has all the tools to become a breakout star at the showcase.

was really impressive on Saturday and she has grown significantly since I last saw her in the summer league. Jones has heart and has some game. She has good quickness, and can stop on a dime. Jones also has great hands and the can snag the ball out of the air. Her ability to change directions allows her to get into the painted area and unleash the sweet floater. Jones also had a few nice three pointers from the top of the key with picture perfect form. Defensively, she was all over ball handlers. She cut off their angles to the rim and caused handlers to pick up their dribble. She also played in the passing lanes and was able to get a lot of steals.
