In three of the last five years the Mustangs have had five loss seasons but have been unable to break through a sub-state final to go to the state tournament. The deep, talented and big Mustangs will be among the best teams in 4A and Pitzer will be a major reason why. 4A has few quality, true bigs so on a nightly basis opponents are going to struggle dealing with her. Pitzer brings a very solid frame, strength, interior footwork and transition speed to the table. This summer she showed the difficulty defenders had with keeping her off the glass and preventing Pitzer from getting good looks inside off entry passes. Look for a big season for the junior.

Pitzer joins teammate Brynna Zoeller Brynna Zoeller 5'11" | C Rock Creek | 2026 KS on the list of rising bigs to watch. Heading into her junior year she is not yet as polished as Zoeller but is expected to continue improving in transition speed and quickness. She has a very solid frame, strength and good interior footwork. Zoeller averaged 5.5 points and 4.7 rebounds in 2025. From what I have seen in terms of opponents’ inability to keep her off the glass I expect to see both numbers tick up a bit in 2026. Pitzer jumped 38 spots to #116.
