Karsyn is a 2029 center from Cass City who I’d love to get my first look at during The Expo. At 6-foot-2, she brings great size to the interior and has already earned recognition for her play at the high school level. What makes Karsyn especially intriguing is that she appears to bring more than just size, with the ability to impact the game on the glass, defensively, and as a facilitator. She is a young post prospect I’ve been wanting to get eyes on, and The Expo would be a great opportunity to see her compete in person.

Karsyn dominated the interior for Cass City, and her impact led to a very successful season. Her potential as a college post is high with a 6-foot-2 frame and a multidimensional set of skills. Karsyn contributed in every category, averaging eight points, 12.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 2.2 steals, and one block per game. She received recognition as All-Conference and could keep climbing the rankings as she continues to develop her fundamentals and physical strength.

Karsyn almost slipped through the cracks, but her performance at the Au Sable Shootout kept that from happening. She is a 6-footer who can push the ball in transition, protect the rim as a shot blocker, win the rebounding battle, and finish around the basket. Karsyn’s older sister went D1 for volleyball, and she has the potential to be a high-caliber recruit. Karsyn is a Cass City prospect we’d love to see compete against top prospects at the Freshman Showcase.
