One of the few players I saw was given the task to guard every position but who also had the strength and ability to do so. Rodriguez forced many bad shots from her opponents, hustled and won the 50/50 ball battle. One of her standout moments was watching her guard a 6'4 highly sought after division 1 prospect. Despite her opponent having almost a 1 foot advantage over Rodriguez she made her play out of her comfort zone and forced a couple turnovers and many bad shots. A strong guard who can fill a role and make an impact.

Martinez was one of the most relentless defenders I personally watched this weekend. She helped force many turnovers and was sneaky on the defensive end in the paint slashing through and coming up with steals. Impressive speed that allowed her to blow by defenders. Made some very tough buckets in the paint through some tough contact. Great in transition on either side. I had the chance to see Martinez play a couple times and in each game her opponents would try and advance the ball opposite of where she was. Incredibly tough player.

Myla has an incredible motor. Strong defender but just an all out hustler. Crashes the boards, dives for loose balls you name it. Showed great ability to finish tough layups and knock down the three. Vocal leader on the court and has a good feel for the game. Another player that can fill a role and do what the team needs to be done. Showed great leadership and coachabilty

Alexa can flat out hustle. A guard with some length that can defend and rebound very well. A very smart defensive player that knows when and how to move. Didn't force shots and allowed them to develop. Good mid range off the dribble and soft touch on the floater. She knocked down two college level threes and out rebounded bigger opponents. Very vocal and confident player. Navarro is primed for a breakout season with the Apaches of Nogales, AZ.

This isn't my first time seeing Sutton play and every time I see her I'm impressed with her continued development. Strong and physical in the paint. Great footwork and constantly moving. Sets strong screens and a good pop out shooter with a quick release. Boxes out really well and created rebounding opportunities for her teammates. Plays the game well and with full effort. Sutton plays an important role for the Thunderbolts and will be important to their success this season.

Quiroga continues to be impressive with her gameplay. Her ability to defend the length of the court and force turnovers was exciting to watch. She plays in a rotation of very strong guards for the Blue Devils and when shes in the game she is finding ways to impact. She controls the offense at times and is a well balanced point guard. Capable of knocking down the three ball at a high percentage. Drives and kicks very well. Knows how to effectively come off a screen and find the right scoring opportunity. Bella continues to climb the rankings with every viewing.

This was my first time seeing incoming sophomore Abigail Peterson. Really impressed with how well she played. She played big in the paint and used her length to force bad shots. Good footwork in the paint and showcased her ability to finish with either hand. Physical rebounder and can dribble the ball up if needed. Hit the dagger that would put the Falcons ahead for good to get the win against a tough Dobson team. Peterson has great potential and can be a name that starts creating some buzz in the 2028 class.
