Martinez was one of the most relentless defenders I personally watched this weekend. She helped force many turnovers and was sneaky on the defensive end in the paint slashing through and coming up with steals. Impressive speed that allowed her to blow by defenders. Made some very tough buckets in the paint through some tough contact. Great in transition on either side. I had the chance to see Martinez play a couple times and in each game her opponents would try and advance the ball opposite of where she was. Incredibly tough player.
