<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the top players in the Class of 2026 came off the board on Wednesday as standout guard [player_tooltip player_id='317343' first='Ava' last='Miles'] of Staley gave a commitment to Nebraska.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A versatile 6'0" guard, Miles is a tremendous two-way player who can impact the game in a variety of ways. Miles had more than two dozen collegiate scholarship offers from programs around the country. She is currently the No. 3 player in the Prep Girls Hoops Missouri Class of 2026 rankings. She made her announcement on her social media account.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Miles is a four-year varsity starter who began her career at Park Hill South, before transferring to Staley, where she has been an Class 6 All-State selection the past two seasons.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As a junior, Miles led the Falcons to a 30-2 record and a berth in the Class 6 state championship game. She averaged 15 points and five rebounds a game while shooting 51 percent from the field and 35 percent from 3-point range.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
