About Sofia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a tough post player who isn't afraid of contact down low. I grind for rebounds and set screens to get my guards open for jumpers.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I enjoy keeping the team motivated and excited. I will show up early and stay late to get better and support my team in any way. I love being part of a team and keeping morale high even in tough situations.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I received a partial academic scholarship to Bishop O'Connell High School. I was President of St. Mark Catholic School during the 2024 - 2025 academic year.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I was class ambassador during my 6th and 7th grade academic school years before becoming school president in 8th grade. I was awarded the Catholic Citizenship award in 2025 by the Arlington, VA Knights of Columbus. As President of St. Mark Catholic School I helped organize and lead multiple community service projects such as our school's Soup-er Bowl where we collected food for a local food pantry

Sofia is a solid defender who is always looking to get her hands on the ball and is good at the rim. Plays with good energy and activity often disrupt the rhythm of her opponent with her length. Has good size but still is a raw prospect with good athleticism. Now in a super competitive high school conference she will get some good on the job training this season!
