After a season under her belt as a high schooler, it was eye opening to see her leadership skills on display. As inexperienced players entered the game, she was vocal and pointing for them to get into defensive position. I’m aware of her 3 point shooting abilities from watching her play fall league ball, however, I’d never seen her attempt one in a high school game. She drained 3 in the row. She is a shot blocker and seemed to have a quicker spring to get up for blocks and rebounds.

Alexis looked like a player with a lot of upside the put everything together in a single game. She scored around 12 straight points for Elevate Elite . She scored on the offensive glass, with her back to the basket and even got a steal that she took the length of the floor for a layup. Add in a couple of blocks and she had a game that shows what she is capable of when everything comes together.

was able to play on the varsity team at Overton High School and made a big impact with the opportunity.
Williams was consistently providing elite rebounding night in and out. She does a good job at establishing herself in good positions for boards and using her size at 6’3″ to her advantage. In 26 logged games, she averaged 8.3 rebounds per game. One of her best rebounding performances came against Southwind High School where she had 16 rebounds.
Williams is also a good interior scoring threat. She does well playing through contests when in the paint. In 26 games, she averaged 11.4 points per game. One of her best games was against White Station High School, where she scored 23 points.

Alexis has a lot of upside with her size and length and she made that clear in the game I watched. She finished well around the rim with strength and kept the ball high which made her tough to contest. She controlled the boards on both ends and consistently secured rebounds in her area. At 6’3, she looked dominant at the 15U level and played with a presence and confidence that stood out.

Shot Blocker. Offensively, the freshman struggled. I had her down making 1 of 7 shot attempts. That didn’t stop her from using her length to clean up the boards and get some very key blocks at the end of the game. She finished with 7 rebounds and 4 blocks by my stats.

Williams, in her first season of high school hoops, has been denying shots regularly. She has a total of 62 blocks this season through 19 recorded games, averaging 3.2 blocks per game. One of her most notable defensive performances was against Memphis Central High School. She had 11 stocks, eight blocks, and also three steals.
And for what all Williams brings defensively, she is also just as elite offensively. She has multiple games this year with over 15 points.
