Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
My gameplay style is a physical, team-oriented post player who excels in the paint. I am tough and enjoy the contact of girl's AAU play. I center my offensive focus on rebounding, scoring inside and facilitating teammates through assists. I also love contributing to my team by running the court and prioritizing strong defense to disrupt our opponents offensive plans.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
Growing up playing basketball, softball, and volleyball has really helped me build mental toughness, both on and off the court. I thrive on competition and feel like I perform my best when I’m challenged, whether it’s in sports or school. Off the court, I’m pretty outgoing and like to keep things fun (or at least I try to be funny).
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
My middle school did not offer many club options, but did volunteer my time during study hall to help a 5th grade special education class. For that reason I was given a student of the month award. I also won student of the year award last year in Physical Education. In high school I plan to be part of Key Club, Best Buddies (a club that buddies up special education students) and Student Council.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
My mom is the president of the PTO and she has made it a point to show my brother and I what servant leadership looks like. We are always at school volunteering for anything from serving lunch to staff, concessions, fundraisers, etc. Giving back to my school district and the people who make it great makes me feel good.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I have faced some challenges growing up such as sports related injuries and the social pressures that impact all teenagers. However, I feel like I have a strong support system around me and have come out better every time.
What type of college are you looking for?
I'm pretty open to checking out different schools right now because I want to find the best fit for me both on and off the court. I’m looking for a place where I can keep improving my game, be a part of a great team, and also grow in school and as a person. I’m excited to learn more about different programs and see where I can contribute.
