2028 Players Outside Of The Top 100 To Keep An Eye On

There is a wide array of talent in the class of 2028 in girls' high school basketball across the state of Tennessee. With that, there are a ton of players outside the top 100 who could become household names at the high school level come the start of school ball. Here are some class of 2028 players who could be on the rise.    Stroud is ranked just outside of the top 100 and is on one of the best high school basketball programs in the country, Bradley Central. She has great playmaking abilities at the guard position. She can dish out and find her teammates as soon as they break open. Stroud can also break down a defense well. She has plus speed and a great handle at the guard position. With these two skills combined she is able to change direction in a snap. She is a player to keep an eye on, as another offseason could set her up for a big year in her second season on the high school level.     [player_tooltip player_id='1240257' first='Mikah' last='Mulligan'] brings a lot of winning tools to the table as a player, especially on the defensive side. She has great timing Mulligan can hop and pick off a pass in a passing lane in a split second. She showed this in a contest against Whites Creek High School, where she got three steals. Her timing also applies to blocking shots, even at the guard position. She can block shots as a help defender, or in one-on-one defense.       [player_tooltip player_id='1239176' first='Kinlee' last='Stutts'] brings a lot of versatility at the small forward position, and like Mulligan it starts on the defensive side. Stutts is a scrappy and relentless defender. Every second she is on defense she is trying to find a way she can interrupt the opposing offenses flow. She showcased her defensive prowess for Loretto High School last season in a game where she got five steals against Battle Creek High School.   On offense, she is a capable shooter and a great finisher around the basket. With all of the madness Stutts creates when she steals a pass on the defensive end, it often results in fast breaks. She excels in these situations. Stutts is quick to pass and find an outlet and then runs to fill a lane. And when she gets a chance to score in transition, she is comfortable doing so.     [player_tooltip player_id='986063' first='Jaelin' last='Baugh'] is a high-level post player, and she displayed this as a freshman last year. She is an outstanding rebounder on both ends of the floor. Baugh is great at positioning herself in the best place to attack and time a shot coming off the rim.   She can also time and block a shot and is always in a good position to make an impact defensively. Baugh especially shines at low-post defense. If a post player attacks her on the block, she is hard to move out of the way and usually gets off a good contest.   Offensively, she is solid at scoring around the basket, and also has some promise in having a capable three-point shot at the big position.     [player_tooltip player_id='1054441' first='Jade' last='Suggs'] is an agro scorer and rebounder. On defense she helps shut down second-chance scoring opportunities for her opponents. She is never at a stand still. Suggs is constantly moving, especially when a shot is in the air. She is fast to jump to angles to get her the best chance of rebounding a shot, and is quick to find a teammate to push the pace and put pressure on the opposing team.   On offense, she has solid footwork going towards the rim, especially when driving on the right side. She uses her strength and footwork and converts regularly on the right block.
