I love #THROWBACK stuff from yesteryear, like boxing/blocking out, following your shot, as well as the drop step, to name a few that are not as abundant as they once were so when I see some things which drew me to the game in the first as far as evaluating, coaching my daughters initially got me diving deeper, it's always good to go back to another era, here ya go

Loretto had me glancing at the roster, wondering why I hadn't seen her. She was playing on a Texas team, and she's from New Mexico, so that mystery was solved. Her "hands and footwork" coupled with her "drop step" seemed to be a mystery for defenders to stop, and when you factor in her rebounding as well as defense, her upside is nice

Bolds has the right last name. When I factor in her college-ready frame and powerful moves inside the paint, she made a BOLD statement that she has the potential to be hard to handle around the basket. She stands above "the magic number," and her "hands and footwork" set the stage for her to score with either hand. She also did a good job defending both inside and outside the paint

Lady Clippers had a variety of players that stood out, and this young lady gave me something else I love to drop the #THROWBACK hashtag on, DESIRE, because I love things you can't teach. She went after the ball off the rim, on both ends, and showed she could score around the basket, yet she also showed she could play defense as well as play the passing lane

Brown is a shade under "the magic number" yet she plays as if she's above it. Watching her catch the ball in traffic and maneuver inside the paint to finish was nice, so was her drop step to score after contact. She understands how to use her frame on both ends of the court, and she defended well

Henderson stands at "the magic number" yet her combination of "hands and footwork" coupled with the "drop step" was effective, yet she moves fluidly around the basket and showed she could attack and score. She did a good job rebounding as well as playing defense, but she also played the passing lane well

Hearst has that combination of being "long and athletic" as well as above "the magic number" which automatically attracts next-level coaches, and chatting with her dad, she has over 20 D1 offers. I go back in time to see her "on the court progression" see evaluations here, and she has become a terror on both ends. I love her timing to block shots and handling the ball afterward to go coast to coast and score. She does the same thing playing the passing lane, but her "hands and footwork" to finish with either hand dropped the mic. Her defense is solid as she can guard in the paint as well as baseline to baseline
