I'll have some different content to help bridge the gap between the AAU and high school seasons soon. Today, we're highlighting some players who could add an element to their program. The players I'll spotlight today are players who I believe could reach another level in their game and take a step forward this season.

The Hudson off-ball guard had a role last season for the Raiders. Her ability to space the floor and shoot will help any team she plays for, and the Raiders were no different. Hopefully, having a forward who can draw in defenders and make the right read healthy all season will lead to Belany having her best season in her final season of high school basketball. I liked her when I watched her play early last season, and I believe there should be programs that have an interest in her playing at the next level if she wants to pursue a college career.

[player_tooltip player_id='878030' first='Keiveana' last='Petersons']

The Hamilton forward has the physical tools that could help her excel in her senior season. Peterson is a player who can play in traffic and be strong with the ball in her hands. She is also a solid athlete who helps her team in transition. However, she could be a player who pursues volleyball at the next level because she is a standout multi-sport athlete. There is plenty to love about what she could be, and if she's interested in playing basketball, it's worth a trip to watch once.

[player_tooltip player_id='888726' first='Lola' last='Warren']

The Hamilton guard is the definition of a fundamental guard. Warren doesn't try to be anything she's not, and runs her team's offense well. Warren is a talented athlete who can run around the floor for 36 minutes without getting tired. She is also a player who can use her lateral quickness to make plays on the defensive end of the floor. Warren is a player who coaches can trust to take care of the ball and run their offense how they want it run.

[player_tooltip player_id='509720' first='Valencia' last='Burgos']

The East Troy native is a solid perimeter shooter and was an integral piece of their standout season in 2024-25. Burgos is a reliable perimeter threat who can space the floor for any team she's on, and played well when healthy when I saw her in Ohio, playing for 24:Up in April. She is a player who has found ways to improve over the last few seasons.
