Amanda showed a nice balance between looking for her own offense and recognizing when her attack created something better for a teammate. One of her best examples came on a drive-and-kick, where she attacked the lane, drew multiple defenders toward her, and found the open player rather than forcing a finish in traffic. She delivered several other impressive passes throughout the day, showing good awareness of where her teammates were as the defense moved. Amanda also gave defenders plenty of reason to respect her as a scorer, knocking down back-to-back threes with the second coming on a smooth step-back. That shooting threat helped open driving lanes and gave her another way to create opportunities for others.

Amanda, playing on Team 8 at The Expo, showed a nice combination of perimeter scoring and playmaking. She got into a rhythm from behind the arc by knocking down back-to-back threes, with the second coming on a smooth step-back that created the separation she needed to get her shot off. Amanda also showed good awareness as a facilitator, attacking off the dribble, drawing multiple defenders, and making the right read with a drive-and-kick to an open teammate. Her passing was impressive throughout her time on the floor, as she saw openings develop and delivered several well-placed passes to create opportunities for her teammates.

Amanda turned in a productive game for Fraser at The Compound Fall League. She gave the team a boost with her outside shooting, catching, and pivoting quickly to get her feet positioned to shoot the ball with accuracy and balance. Amanda drained a triple from the corner and added two more from the wing. She crashed the glass to secure offensive rebounds and wasn’t afraid to dive on the floor to compete for 50/50 balls. Amanda ran through a pass in the air to keep it from being picked off, then drove hard down the baseline to earn a trip to the free-throw line. She poured in ten points and will be an important member of the lineup.

Amanda was a standout at SkillCase a year ago, and she received recognition as a Top Performer while playing up for Michigan Goonies 16U on the PGH Circuit. Amanda is a dynamic guard who handles the ball with excellent control and speed. She maintains balance and creates space to attack with quick dribble combinations. She has good finishing touch and footwork around the basket. Amanda is an accurate three-point shooter off the hop or the dribble, an effective facilitator, and she moves her feet well laterally to defend drives without fouling.

Amanda, a guard for Goonies, put together an impressive performance at the MI College Tour Northwood, even while competing up a division. She showed her scoring ability by knocking down shots from beyond the arc and attacking the basket with confidence, finishing effectively at the rim. Amanda also made her presence felt on the glass, battling for rebounds, and brought consistent effort on the defensive end, making things difficult for her matchup. Her all-around play and ability to compete against older talent made her stand out throughout the event.

Amanda is a prospect I enjoyed seeing for the first time at SkillCase on Sunday–she’s going to be an immediate impact player at the high school level. Amanda made an all-around impact during the games. She penetrated gaps with her dribble and kicked the ball out to open shooters on the perimeter. Amanda grabbed rebounds on both ends and created steals. She ran through passes, drove hard to the rim to cause a foul, buried two triples from the wing, and added another from the corner. Amanda knocked down mid-range and three-point jumpers during drills at a high rate. She’s a high-effort playmaking guard that I’m excited to follow, and I expect her to be an immediate impact player at the high school level.
