[player_tooltip player_id='1090896' first='Jensen' last='Thrasher'] is the newest member of the 2028 class's top 5, and it is not hard to see why.

Bentonville's star is an explosive offensive player. On her drives, she shows zero hesitation when attacking the basket, and she knows how to protect the basketball once she is in the paint. From the perimeter, she can knock down the long ball off the catch and off a screen, plus, she knows how to find open teammates with ease.

[player_tooltip player_id='1090896' first='Jensen' last='Thrasher']'s talent is sky-high, and she performed well this summer with the [program_tooltip program_id='715977' first='AAO' last='Flight']. Her offer from Drake three days ago was her fifth Division I offer, which includes Murray State, Louisiana Tech, UCA, and Illinois State. Again, not a surprise to see her finally in the top 5.

[player_tooltip player_id='1202392' first='Rylee' last='Williams'] is inching closer to the top 10 of the 2028 class, and if she has the season I believe she will have, she is a virtual lock for the top 10.

Williams' ability to score cannot be overstated. She is a brilliant shot creator who can find creases in the defense and score in whatever way she can. Williams can hit deep perimeter shots, whether off the bounce or the catch. She can also take a step in and knock down a jumper from inside the arc.

If Williams sees a lane to the basket, go ahead and give her the two points. She is a great finisher who can finish over the defense in the painted area, especially with her floater.

[player_tooltip player_id='1202392' first='Rylee' last='Williams'] is now with 4A-5 North Joe T. Robinson. That is looking like an up-and-coming team in Central Arkansas, and Williams is headlining that talented crew.

[player_tooltip player_id='1090885' first='Taige' last='Norwood'] had an eventful summer. She was offered by Abilene Christian in May, then picked up offers from Arkansas-Fort Smith and UCA. She is starting her sophomore season at a new school: Greenland High School, and she could set her new conference on fire.

Norwood has the potential to be a 20-point-per-game scorer for Greenland. She has a very quick release on her jumper, and she can pull up or catch and shoot from mid-range and three. Norwood does not mind shooting these jumpers with a hand in her face, proving that she is just as lethal.

Closer to the basket, Norwood is just as dangerous. She is a crafty finisher who can use both hands to score inside. The guard uses a variety of jabs, head fakes, and step-throughs to gain separation against the defense. Once she has a lane, few can stop her attack.

[player_tooltip player_id='1090885' first='Taige' last='Norwood'] did not see enough playing time during her freshman season. Now with new scenery and some solid teammates, Norwood could be one of the biggest breakout candidates in the state, especially after watching her torch defenses all summer with the Arkansas [program_tooltip program_id='712392' first='Banshees' last=''].

Like several of the other players mentioned in this article, [player_tooltip player_id='1251732' first='Maylee' last='Robinson'] had a great summer. She picked up her first Division I offer from Louisiana Tech. Now with some collegiate attention, expect Robinson to have a big sophomore year.

Robinson can stretch the floor, providing solid shooting along with her length. She is solid off the catch and could develop into a solid stretch-4. I can also see Robinson developing into a dominant small forward. She has the ability to attack the basket as she is already a solid finisher.

That length typically means success on the defensive end. Lake Hamilton's forward has found a lot of success blocking shots in the post, especially coming over on the help side. She is also a relentless rebounder.

[player_tooltip player_id='1251732' first='Maylee' last='Robinson'] could be another potential breakout star for the 2025-26 season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1180588' first='Ja'Riyah' last='Palmer'] at #49 is ridiculous. After earning all-conference honors as a freshman last season, I would expect Palmer to have a huge sophomore year.

Palmer did a bit of everything with the Lady Mustangs in her first year on varsity, performing well in a number of games. Against Russellville in December, the freshman guard starred with 22 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals. Around the same time, Palmer nearly had a unique triple-double, officially logging 19 points, 8 assists, and 9 steals in another December matchup.

Palmer can clearly score the ball, as she can create shots with her great handles. She can hit perimeter jumpers effectively, but she is a master at finding gaps in the defense and scoring in the lane. On defense, there are few better than Palmer at picking the opposition's pockets. She can also provide hounding on-ball pressure for the entire length of the floor and throughout the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1180588' first='Ja'Riyah' last='Palmer'] could be in line for an all-state caliber year in 2025-26, but I think she will rise in the rankings after the next update. Keep up with this young star.
