I attended the Expo up in Appleton, Wisconsin. I'll begin going through a handful of teams that I watched play today and highlighting the players I observed throughout the morning and early afternoon. I thought it was a productive day, seeing some players from around the state, and I found it to be my most enjoyable Expo since I first attended the event in 2021. Today, we'll look at Team Seven and discuss the players from that unit.

The Grafton guard is a talented perimeter player who can open games up with her ability to knock down shots from the three-point line. I think she moves well away from the ball and makes intelligent cuts to get open on the perimeter. I like her willingness to move away from the ball and get open looks at the rim. She is always a threat on the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='931583' first='Brooklyn' last='Luehring']

The Kettle Moraine Lutheran guard is a player with plenty of skill on the offensive end. She can make plays with the ball in her hands and has grown her confidence to be a player who is willing to attack the basket off the dribble. I thought she might have been the most dynamic player in the gym, and I thought she was potentially the most talented player there. It also helps that Luehring can knock down perimeter jumpers.

[player_tooltip player_id='881307' first='Kylee' last='Buttchen']

The Milton native is a hard-nosed guard who isn't quite in basketball form yet this year. The multi-sport athlete is in the middle of a volleyball season, but still showed some of her qualities on the basketball court. She plays hard and is willing to make extra-effort plays on both ends of the floor. I also like that she has the physicality to play through contact and make plays around the basket. Buttchen has also developed into a talented perimeter threat.

[player_tooltip player_id='1039255' first='Myla' last='Janquart']

Janquart is a rangey guard who has the tools to develop into a productive player on the defensive end of the floor. She has the range to make plays away from the ball and has a knack for getting her hands on the ball on the defensive end of the floor. I thought she had her moments on the offensive end of the floor, but she didn't have the ball much on that end of the floor. However, there were things that caught my attention.
