The KML guard has continued to improve over her first two high school seasons. Luehring has a combination of physicality and athleticism that makes her a handful for defenders to keep in front. She has excellent footwork around the basket and is willing to play through contact. She brings an edge to the floor that’s evident whenever she steps on the court. The rising junior is as complete a player as most in her class, and she keeps finding ways to take her game to another level.

I thought Luehring was an even more fluid athlete than I had even thought heading into camp. She moved well and changed directions well in the skills portion of the event. However, I feel she was among the best scorers in some of the 1v1 drills that gave the offensive player a built-in advantage. She’s so patient and can get to wherever she wants without expending too much effort.

I thought the version of Luerhing I saw this weekend, particularly today, was the most aggressive version of her I’ve ever seen. She looked like she wanted to make something happen every time she touched the ball, and it worked as she did in the first half. She got to her spots whenever she wanted in the first half, and ran out of steam in the second, but it was a side of her I hadn’t seen before, and I was impressed to say the least.

I am finding it hard to write an article without including Brooklyn in it! One of the top scorers that I watched, she was equally impressive on defense. Quick feet, active, aggressive hands that turned into multiple steals and easy baskets, not only for her, but also for her teammates.

Brooklyn’s game impressed me, and I wrote about her as one of the top players that I watched. Highly-skilled offensively, she has the ability to get whatever shot she wants however her unselfishness stuck out and she showed that she was one of the better passers at The Expo. Super-aggressive player that draws the defense, with her speed and quick first step, knowing when to look for her shot or hit a cutting teammate.

Brooklyn was one of the best players that I had the pleasure to watch! She’s very aggressive and, due to her combination of speed and quickness, was able to get to the hoop at will showing some great passing and the ability to finish with either hand usually drawing fouls in the process. She also impressed with a strong low post game with a seal and tough contested finish in traffic.
