The Louisiana guard was a live wire all weekend long. Has some sauce and flash to her game as a quick guard. Equally capable of gliding all the way to the rim. Or getting defenders on their heels, then stopping and pulling up from three or the mid-range. Scoring is the name of the game and Ware has the traits to be a dangerous scoring at the next level. Complete with the ability to drop the occasional nice dime to take advantage of defenders shading over to stop her.

I wrote about Ware in early October and heading into December she has already proved that her game has evolved. Over the past couple weeks she has stepped in to assume ball-handling duties and handled the task with grace. Ware is a methodical player that is comfortable when the game is played at her pace. Ware is not going to let you speed her up, and teams that try to match the high speed game of Captain Shreve have not been able to frustrate Ware. She is one reason Captain Shreve is considered one of the top teams in the state, and she looks like she gets more comfortable in every game.
