After Day 1, I covered five freshmen who stood out in the Varsity division. Week after week, new underclassmen dropped in to compete in the top division and showed they could make an impact on their high school varsity team in their first year. Here are four more freshmen who stood out on Days 3 and 4:

Five-foot-8 freshman guard [player_tooltip player_id='1325224' first='Paisley' last='Aho'] is a fast-twitch competitor with a strong frame. Aho played up with Oregon Overtime 16U over the summer and consistently stood out for her ability to win possessions with a next-level physicality. She is the first one to dive to the floor to win the ball, she makes athletic saves, and she crashes the offensive glass for second-chance points. On offense, Aho is a calm facilitator who gets downhill at her own pace. She can drive and pull-up, dish, or kick out under control. She makes nicely timed cuts and has great hands to finish inside. On defense, Aho is versatile and can battle inside against the opposing big. She tips passes, rebounds, and forces the jump ball. This fall, the freshman put in reps in the Varsity Division at the 3x3 Hoop League. Aho and club teammate [player_tooltip player_id='1005370' first='Adia' last='Fancher'], a sophomore transfer from Corbett, should both make a big impact for Barlow this winter season. Aho should be on the 2029 Watchlist.

5-foot-8 shooting guard Kadee Spike competes with a hooper's swagger. The freshman has nice handles, vision, passing, and shooting. She moves well with and without the ball and can be a three-level scoring threat. She uses strong ball fakes to make solid entry passes or get by to finish athletic takes at the rim. She has nice speed and lateral movement on the bounce. She doesn't give up after getting stopped and makes the extra effort to find the assist out of a broken play. Spike closes out quickly on the perimeter, fights over screens, and has good help side awareness on defense. The freshman is excited to play with a Union (WA) squad that should be a state tournament contender this winter.

5-foot-7 shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='1321458' first='Kaylee' last='Bjorkgren'] is a freshman with a high game IQ and a pure stroke. Bjorkgren consistently works hard and knows where to be on both sides of the ball. You can't leave her open on the perimeter; she will knock down the in-rhythm catch-and-shoot jumper. She moves under control on the bounce, doesn't force it, and can kick out for the assist. The ball doesn't stick in her hands, she keeps the rock moving and consistently makes the right read to take or pass. Bjorkgren is a disciplined defender on and off the ball. She fights over screens, keeps her arms straight up to contest the driver, helps, and boxes out. The freshman ran with [program_tooltip program_id='1035055' first='Northwest' last='Select'] over the summer and will be a nice addition to Lakeridge in the winter.

Freshman Sophia Zuniga is a small forward with a strong frame who can score inside. Zuniga uses her body well in the paint, posting up and sealing off the defender. She's strong with the ball under the basket, isn't afraid of contact, and can get up through traffic. She battled for boards inside. Zuniga trained with [program_tooltip program_id='1035055' first='Northwest' last='Select'] over the summer. The freshman is a smart competitor and has learned from one of Oregon's best, her older sister, [player_tooltip player_id='502352' first='Emma' last='Zuniga'], who is committed to Portland State. The two used their sister connection to assist each other on a West Salem squad that was a top competitor in the Varsity Division at the 3x3 Hoop League this fall.
