Masen has had a huge 12-18 months, and hopefully it will pay off for her soon in recruiting. She is a nice, strong athlete, she plays with a good motor, but she also plays under control. She is an effective scorer from all three levels, and she does a nice job of absorbing contact when attacking the basket. Defensively, she’s a solid rebounder for a guard, plus she can defend most guards, wings, and even the occasional undersized forward. I think she could be an effective small college scorer after averaging 18.4 points as a Junior this year.

Masen is another prospect who had a really nice Sophomore year. In her second season, she averaged 14.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 3.1 steals per game for Perry Central. She is more of an athletic attacker than a shooter, but she can knock down an occasional outside jumper. She’s a hard worker, she defends with effort as well, and she posts good rebounding numbers from the perimeter for a guard.
