Widely regarded as the most lethal one-two punch in 4A, Spratley and Skarsgard can take over games from anywhere on the floor.

Senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='648196' first='Adeline' last='Spratley'] is a dynamic two-way force who posted 19 double-doubles (second-most in the class), while sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='1068212' first='Lily' last='Skarsgard'] brings rare size and shooting touch, draining 77 threes (also second in the class). Together they powered the Chargers (24-5) to the District 4A-6 title and a berth in the Elite Eight.

[player_tooltip player_id='839428' first='Trinity' last='Calabaza'] and [player_tooltip player_id='901174' first='Semaria' last='Brown'] (Bernalillo)

This 6'0” junior front-court tandem forms one of the most imposing interior defenses in the state.

Calabaza and Brown protect the rim with rare instincts and physicality, routinely erasing shots at the point of attack. Last season they combined for 22.1 points, 15.4 rebounds, 3.5 steals, and an eye-popping 5.6 blocks per game — numbers that made Bernalillo's (13-16) paint a no-fly zone despite a tough overall record.

The most decorated duo in the classification.

Tsosie, a versatile 5'11" forward, and Vicenti, a 5'5" do-it-all guard, have combined for three all-state honors (Tsosie two-time, Vicenti one-time and counting). They deliver in the biggest moments, make winning plays on both ends, and led Gallup (30-2) to the 2024-25 4A State Championship while closing the season on a ten-game winning streak.

One of the premier back-courts in southern New Mexico, these high-usage senior guards form a scoring and playmaking machine.

Castro owns the state's active career lead with 166 made three-pointers across 108 games, while Borunda — a fierce competitor — is on the cusp of 1,000 career points, which would make the pair two of Lovington's newest members of that exclusive club. Together they averaged 28.2 points, 10.2 rebounds, 6.7 assists, and 6.0 steals per game, carrying the Wildcats (16-13) to the Round of 16.

A relentless defensive duo that turns opponents' ball movement into turnovers.

Gomez, a 5'8” combo-guard, and Schmidt, a 5'7” combo-guard, fly around the court with nonstop energy, jumping passing lanes and blowing up actions at the top of the key. Offensively versatile and defensively suffocating, they combined for 19.2 points, 9.5 rebounds, and an astounding 10.0 steals per game — among the highest disruption totals in the state.
