Where here is a short list of players that we believe are the tops in our book for the specific skill they showcase.
Here is my list for Los Angeles Area (5) Best Post Prospects, Period……
2020, 6’3, PF/C, Elodie Lalotte (Boise State Signee) – Elodie is a ton in the paint, skilled, very skilled, she has a jump hook with both hands, she has a nasty drop step that is going to move her defender out of the way. She runs the floor and is very athletic for her size, but her greatest attribute is her ability to block shots, she will run down in the paint and block your shot and then initiate the break by getting it out to one of the guards. She is a rebound machine and no one does it like her in the paint in California.
2021, 6’6, C, Endigo Parker – Endigo is a long and lanky center with a numerous amount of skills, she showed us her soft hands and shooting ability from the midrange area of the floor, she used the backboard and also showed us her ability to block shots at a consistent basis. She has right and left finishing abilities and she is not afraid to mix it up with bigger and heavier post players. She showed D1 schools last night, she is ready to compete on the floor and can help your team win, by running the floor, catching and finishing at the rim.
2020, 6’3, C, Eleanor Roosevelt High School, Ugonne Onyiah – Is the most dominant big in the state of California and I believe she is worthy of a McDonalds nominee and most likely will play in the game from SoCal. She blocks shots with great timing and is one of better threats in the paint to score at all times on the floor. She works hard and no one has been able to match her drive and determination on the floor this year. (Committed to Cal Berkeley)
2020, 6’2, C, Cheyenne Forney (University of Denver Commit) – she is very good, she has the size, the confidence, the skillset down low and also the sense to rebound the ball and push it like a guard. She was dominant in the post, she was dominant on the defensive end of the floor, blocking shots and doing any and everything for her team. Definitely a leader on the floor and showed it with each and every play she made for her team. Denver is getting a good one here.
2020 – 6’3, C, Santa Monica HS, Chantal Moawad – Showed us that she is a walking double-double each and every night on the floor. She will beat you up inside with her physicality and then out rebound you on both sides of the floor. Skilled inside the paint, seals and dominates and can hit the short 8 footer with some consistency we saw. (Committed to Brown University).
