Previous un-beaten’s Harrisburg & STM fell.
Harrisburg lost twice. Once to the Madison Wuebben-led Yankton Gazelles, 60-58. Awesome Harrisburg crowd went banana’s early and often. PGH wants to see another matchup between Knights and Tigers.
Winner pitched a first quarter 10-0 shutout against STM, easily winning 54-40. Case closed: a second undefeated season, and a #1 seed for SODAK 16 brackets. BHSU commit Morgan Hammerbeck is the sole senior on the roster, with 2021 returning starters, Maggie LaCompte, a deadly shooter, and Kalla Bertram, their best all-around player.
Leading scorer, Bella Swedlund, crossed the 1,000-pt threshold, and 2K is within sight. Her 2022 classmates Ellie Brozik, Kelsey Sachtjen, & Jenna Hammerbeck play hard both as scorers and energetic defenders.

Lennox and STM look forward to re-matches with Winner in March. So does PGH Dakotas.
The showdown Thursday between RC Stevens & RC Central ended with a 29-26 win for the Raiders. There are no highlights to report from this game – turnovers and shooting percentages were mis-stated in the offical stats – miserable describes both sides’ performance. USD commit Kyah Watson could have made a difference, but is correctly taking the incremental path to injury rehab.
