A player that stood out at Expo in September had some scouts putting a check by this combo guard name. A combo guard is a perfect position for Ava as what stood out at the Expo was her athleticism. Scored with the ball in hand or was cutting to the rim getting backdoor layups. Excellent hops that can get that offensive rebound putback. Nice size and physical enough to play that 3 guard on offense and strong enough to defend the 4 spot if needed.

2028 combo guard to watch as I believe will be a strong year for the Lady Pioneers. Stillwater could be a sleeper in Class 5a

Marsh made her way to Oklahoma last year and could be an undervalued prospect in Oklahoma’s loaded Class of 2028. She’s quick and fast, with good jumping ability as well. In these summer ball clips, she’s often going by and weaving through multiple defenders. With good half court slashing and even going to coast off rebounds or steals. Has a variety of finishing moves, with good touch on her floater out to 6 feet. Very much a junior year breakout candidate for Stillwater.

Change of pace guard off the bench. Marsh is quick and energetic. Quick hands allow her to force steals and even blocked the shot of an opposing driving guard. Still has some wildness to her game, but would rather work with a guard to refine skills than try to turn up motor. Type of player who should swing games in Stilwater’s favor as a gamechanger off the bench.
