Still one of the top guards in the state. Kerstein first career trip down to the IHSA Finals wasn’t what she wanted, but she definitely reminded people on why she is such a complete basketball player. 12ppg and 5asts were her tournament averages and how she gets those points are efficient and smooth, at all three levels. She can switch in and out of primary guard and off ball guard without missing a beat. A hell of a career for Lexi, and the talent she’s bringing to Vermont next year should be utilized immediately.

The true captain of this team. Lexi’s attitude, aggressiveness and persona are written all over this program. She’s fiery, determined and is an absolute hell of a basketball player, let alone a top guard in this state. The ball control is strong, the vision is pinpoint and 20/20, and the scoring ability at a three levels is crafty but so efficient. Kerstein is looking to add that state ring to her collection of awards before she takes her talents to UVM this fall. The Warriors are going to need her leadership going into this weekend. She leads by example and by voice… She’ll have her team ready to go.

Prep Girls Hoops Lead Scout

With being off the court for almost the entire summer.. The Vermont commit hasn’t dropped in play a bit, and neither has her on court leadership. Kerstein plays the combo guard position with an amazing amount of tempo and concentration. She rarely makes mistakes, and can score with the best of them. She is a three level headache of a matchup for her opponents. A top guard in the state, and is still showing why.
