Shannon Clarke, 6’0, F, 2021, Free State
A wing-style player with grat size, length and overall athleticism. A Missouri Phenom standout over the summer, Clarke brings a versatile game to the floor which translates to buckets, steals and blocked shots. She’s comfortable handling the ball and can grab a defensive rebound and then go coast-to-coast. A smooth lefty, Clarke looks to extend the floor with her 3-point shot and can get up and make plays around the glass in both transition and half-court settings. A great team leader who leads by example.
T’Yonne, Duncan, 6’1, C, 2021, Olathe South
A physical center who can back opponents down and score over the top. She looks to rebound and block shots and is great in half court settings as she has good overall strength for the position. Duncan is another Olathe South player that has potential in her game and looks better the more she plays.
Aiden Moxness, 6’3, C, 2021, Shawnee Mission West
A tough inside-outside forward/center prospect who makes a strong impact when she’s completely healthy. Moxness has terrific defensive awareness and adds great size and length and the ability to deny shots and kick-off fastbreak opportunities. She has good handles for her position and a soft shot from the free throw line. A difference-maker when she’s healthy and getting looks.
Samerhia Shirley, F, 2021, Gardner-Edgerton
A tall forward for Gardner-Edgerton who has good floor presence in the paint. She has long arms and is good at blocking shots and causing opponents to second-guess themselves in the paint. Shirley has solid athleticism and can handle the ball well in transition. She looks to use her frame and overall build to her advantage and can get physical and create mismatches.
Kennedy Taylor, 6’3, F, 2021, Shawnee Mission Northwest
A KC Dream standout over the summer who has good length and floor presence as a defender. Taylor is listed at 6’3 and brings elite length and strong hands to the floor. She is great at sniffing out a scheme and can block shots or even catch shots out of the air. Taylor can score well inside and has the frame to overpower opponents with her back to the basket or facing the basket. A straight up nightmare on defense who can dominate as a rebounder and through her physicality.
