<p>There are still a few players who haven't generated the attention their skill level warrants. Based on how they've performed so far this season, these athletes look like true steals—underrated talents whose production, impact, and consistency should put them firmly on the radar.</p>   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />   <h1 class="wp-block-heading">2026s</h1>    <p class="text-gray-700">Alia has picked up a few smaller-school offers, but her impact on the floor goes far beyond what her recruitment reflects right now. She's the type of player who changes a game on both ends — the one who can quietly drop 20 points while also leading her team in steals and assists. What truly separates her is everything that <em>doesn't</em> show up in the box score: the rotations she anticipates, the extra effort plays, the way she shifts momentum with a single defensive stop. When a high-volume scorer needs to be shut down, Alia gets the assignment — and she frustrates even the most polished ball handlers. She's already drawing interest from multiple D2 programs and a long list of JUCOs, but she's a player who should not stay on the market long. Any coach looking for toughness, versatility, and a proven two-way difference-maker should take a hard look at her.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Tiana is one of the biggest under-the-radar talents in the state. Playing alongside a star-heavy roster at West has made it easy for her impact to get overlooked, but her skill set is anything but quiet. She has excellent court awareness, absorbs contact without losing her touch, and can score through bumps or relocate to the perfect window for a catch-and-shoot opportunity. Her mid-range jumper is smooth, reliable, and tough to contest. With her length, she can function as a matchup-problem swing player—big enough to play inside for smaller JUCO schools, yet mobile and skilled enough to slide comfortably into a 3–4 role at higher-level programs.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Smith brings a blend of size, shooting touch, and natural mobility that makes her a versatile asset on the floor. She runs well in transition, finishes plays, and uses her length to compete on the boards, giving her team valuable flexibility in both up-tempo and half-court situations. Her catch-and-shoot ability is developing quickly, and she's showing signs of becoming a reliable perimeter threat this season. With her combination of physical tools and scoring upside, she's already a recruitable prospect — at minimum a strong JUCO target, but far more likely someone who will land comfortably at the NAIA or Division II level as she continues to polish her game.</p>    <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />   <h1 class="wp-block-heading">2027s</h1>    <p class="text-gray-700">Leah is a highly skilled, fundamentally sound, high-IQ guard who plays with purpose and precision. Her game is built on her ability to read angles, manipulate defenders, and score at all three levels. She sees the floor exceptionally well, shoots it at an elite clip, and controls the tempo without ever forcing possessions. Through the first three games, she's averaging 26 points, 6.3 assists, and 3.7 steals while hitting 50% from beyond the arc — including helping her team set a new state record with 20 made threes, knocking down 10 of them herself in the first half.</p>   <p class="text-gray-700">If a program wants a guard who elevates everyone on the floor, Leah is a no-brainer pickup. She's already a clear JUCO/NAIA-level recruit, and with added strength over the next year, she projects as a legitimate D2-plus prospect.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Audrey is a physical force who knows how to use her strength to her advantage. She can battle with bigger post players, hold her ground, and create space on the block, but she's just as dangerous when she steps out and knocks down the 3-pointer. That inside-out versatility makes her a matchup problem for nearly every defense. She's also an elite rebounder — aggressive, instinctive, and relentless on both ends — giving her team extra possessions and stability in the paint every night.
