Johnston continues to impress with a career-high 24-point performance against Smokey Hill. Johnston is a high-energy player who consistently outworks her opponents. I love the energy and style she brings to every single play. Against Smokey Hill, Johnston was showcasing her ability to create havoc in their full-court press and converting turnovers into easy layups. She was aggressive, attacking the basket and getting to the line 10 times. Johnston shot an efficient 8-12 from the field, including knocking down a three-pointer. A great game for the senior wing.

Izzy continues to be one of the clear leaders on the floor impacting the game with her toughness. She fights for possessions on both ends allowing her to get what she wants at the rim either off the dribble or with her back to the basket. That same physicality gives her an edge on defense as well.
