Hollingshead performed well in this year’s Colorado Live event. She did a great job of handling the point and orchestrating Arapahoe’s offensive sets. Hollingshead’s ability to handle ball pressure and protect the ball will be an important factor in Arapahoe’s success. She has shown she can knock down a few mid-range jumpers when left open. Hollingshead’s energy on defense is her greatest asset, as she plays with high motor and consistently harasses opposing ball handlers. She is primed for an important role this coming winter.

Morgan plays the game with a poise that stands out making the right decisions with the ball in her hands. She has a great feel for when to attack and when to move it allowing her to control the flow of the game. On top of that, she’s a crafty finisher at the rim who has no problem taking what the defense gives her.

After watching several games, it is clear that Hollingshead dominates the JV level with her energy. Her hustle and aggressive style set the tone for the Warriors’ suffocating full-court press. She creates havoc with her defense, resulting in easy layups for herself and her teammates.  Hollingshead is a good passer and does a good job of finding open teammates. She can knock down the occasional three-pointer, which opens up the lane for her to drive.

Morgan looks like the point guard of the future for Arapahoe, showing real growth early in her varsity experience. She plays with calm and composure, rarely getting sped up even when pressure is applied. Offensively, she confidently attacks the rim while keeping her head up to find open shooters on the wing.

Morgan is the type of player every coach wants composed, and good under pressure. She has a knack for making the right play, whether it’s creating for others or scoring herself. Offensively, she can score in bunches with a jumper and the ability to finish at the rim. Her confidence makes her a steady leader on the floor.

Morgan is a guard who puts teammates in the right spots, leading to easy scoring opportunities. She can score in bunches in transition by attacking the rim or knocking down threes in the half court. Her ability to control tempo and still get her own offense makes her a dual threat.

Morgan knocked down shots as a reliable spot-up shooter while also defending full court. She added crafty finishes at the rim that kept defenses off balance.

Morgan is a pesky defender who applies pressure every possession. With active hands, she creates problems on defense while also scoring in a variety of ways, both at the rim and from the perimeter. Over the past eight months, her steady improvement has made her an even bigger factor.
