The 2022 class was some standout players that made the distinction that they were amongst the State’s Elite this past season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158518" first="Julia" last="Calvin"]</strong> for Lincoln is a offensive master that plays that game at a high level and fast pace. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158519" first="Sofia" last="Megert"] </strong>at South Eugene displayed her game, earning 1st Team All Conference.<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158525" first="Sage" last="Kramer"]</strong> of Philomath lead her team to a nearly flawless season, as they were the clear favorites for 4A due to her leadership and scoring abilities. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158526" first="JaLay" last="Burns"]</strong> of Irrigon had a ridiculous season as she put up huge stats and proved yet again big players come from small schools as well. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158527" first="Delaney" last="Keith"]</strong> is an offensive asset that was used alongside [player_tooltip player_id="158480" first="Hilary" last="James"] at South Salem high school, as they provided to be a dangerous duo.
<span style="font-weight: 400"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158518" first="Julia" last="Calvin"] 2022 5'7" PG (Lincoln HS)</strong> - Earned All League honors for Lincoln, confident, dangerous scorer who has a versatile toolkit. Shot mechanics are very consistent and quick, as she shoots it at a high clip. Rebounds seem to come her way, as she understands position and timing. Pushes the ball in transition, where she is particularly effective, a threat in the open court to either take it herself or dish it off. </span>
<span style="font-weight: 400"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158519" first="Sofia" last="Megert"] 2022 5'4" PG (South Eugene HS)</strong> - Systems point guard that knows when it is her turn to step up and score, lethal jumper shooter that lets it go without second guessing. Reads passes very well, good instincts on defense, as soon as she gets the steal she makes the right play whether it is giving it up or taking it herself. Megert is a good rebounder as her 5’10” height allows her to do so. </span>
<strong style="font-size: 1rem">[player_tooltip player_id="158525" first="Sage" last="Kramer"] 2022 6’1" PG (Philomath HS)</strong><span style="font-size: 1rem"> - The do-it-all guard for Philomath averaged a staggering 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 steals for Philomath, leading them to a 22-1 record, including a 40 point outburst. Kramer lets it go quickly with her quick release, knows how to read the offense for a quick steal, which led to countless fastbreak points for her. Sage dominated at the 4A level her sophomore year, but looks to prove that she is amongst the State’s best, period </span>
<span style="font-weight: 400"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158526" first="JaLay" last="Burns"] 2022 5'2" PG (Irrigon HS)</strong> - The lightning quick point guard is a pest on defense, where she will pick you up full court and somehow, come up with a steal. Against the press, she is willing and able to break it herself with a combination of dribbling skills and agility. She is built for the big shot, but has great court vision and the all the tools and makings of a offensive weapon.</span>
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158527" first="Delaney" last="Keith"] 2022 5’9" SG (South Salem HS) </strong><span style="font-size: 1rem">- The sharpshooter can shoot it off the dribble or on the catch and provided for instant offense for the Saxons this season. Still developing as an offensive player, she rebounds at a high rate for a guard and plays tough defense. All around team player. </span>
