[player_tooltip player_id='821756' first='Allye' last='Pennington'], a transfer from Tennessee, is off to an incredible start in her first season at Franklin-Simpson. She leads all scorers with 22.4 points per game while shooting an efficient 45% from the field and a scorching 48% from three-point range. A true bucket-getter and flamethrower from deep, she's already posted several 30-point performances this season. Pennington currently holds an offer from University of the Cumberlands and is poised to make a significant jump when the next rankings update rolls around.

Spencer County is off to a strong 8–3 start, and junior [player_tooltip player_id='1590324' first='Lily' last='Hughes'] has been one of the team's main contributors this season. She leads the Lady Bears with 11.7 points per game while also pulling down 6.4 rebounds. Lily excels at getting to the basket, using her strong frame to absorb contact and finish, and she does the dirty work inside by rebounding and making her presence felt on defense.

Semaj has been a key piece in the paint for Southwestern this season, averaging 9 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. She works hard on the glass, finishes well around the rim, and does a good job defending the post. Semaj looks poised to continue playing at a high level as the season progresses.

[player_tooltip player_id='1590841' first='Sarah' last='Young'] has been a key asset for the 7–2 Pandas, averaging a double-double with 10.2 points and a team-leading 10.1 rebounds per game. She possesses a good blend of size, length, athleticism, and skill. A post player who can step out and knock down the three, make plays around the rim, and is an excellent shot blocker who also gives an enormous effort on the glass. She's already delivered big performances against top competition, including 17 points and 14 rebounds versus Holy Cross (Covington) and a 17-rebound outing against Cooper. Sarah is definitely one to watch as the season moves forward.

Janell leads the Seneca Redhawks with 12 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. An athletic wing/guard who thrives in transition, she plays with a high motor and consistently impacts the game with her willingness to rebound and her activity on the defensive end.

Tamari is playing very well in her junior season and has been a force inside for Central, averaging 11 points per game while leading the team with 9.2 rebounds. A strong post defender, she clogs the lane and makes it difficult to get anything at the rim. She gets a lot of deflections and steals, and fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor.
