UA controlled this game from beginning until about the 5 minute mark of the second half and then KCC would go on a major run which allowed them to pull out the victory. There were four key players in this one who I've chosen as the FOUR STARS of the game.

Anna played positions one through four in this game, executing each role flawlessly. When running the point, she consistently got the team into its offense, showed strong ability off the dribble, and found open teammates for easy baskets. When playing off the ball, her scoring ability was on full display—she got to her midrange spots with ease and knocked down multiple three-pointers. What really stood out was her length and her ability to excel in transition. As a two-sport athlete who also competes in cross country, Anna clearly benefits from elite stamina and endurance. She runs the floor effortlessly, striding out in transition and making that phase of the game look easy.

Grace's offense wasn't as effective as in previous games, but she made her presence felt on the defensive end all night. She guarded nearly every position and did so at a high level, recording numerous blocks, deflections, and steals. She was relentless on both the offensive and defensive glass, providing her team with extra possessions during crucial moments of a late-game run. Grace also contributed offensively when it mattered most, finishing tough layups through contact down the stretch.

Iatala had it going early in the paint for UA, coming out of the gate showcasing her footwork and creativity around the rim to find scoring angles and advantages. When she didn't finish, she consistently got herself to the free-throw line. She also showed versatility by putting the ball on the floor and even leading the break at times. On the glass, Iatala was a key contributor for UA, controlling rebounds on both ends of the floor—often turning offensive boards into put-back opportunities.

Whitney punished defenses from beyond the arc, making it clear early that she can't be given space. She moved well without the ball, relocated after post entries, and consistently stayed shot-ready, leading to a quick release.
