Her defense is solid, but her court vision in transition is a huge plus, and so is her “step back” to drop the jumper

Thomas was caught initially by me at the Pro Skills Houston tryouts, but @playerrimedies had a chance to catch her in a game, see evaluations here, so, yeah, she’s a “long and athletic” guard with a nice first step to attack the rim and score, but her baseline to baseline pressure looked good, so did her “catch and shoot” from outside

Thomas was one of my big surprises as she not only showed her energy stayed the same, falling into that “never takes a play off” group, but she also showed explosiveness off the dribble to score. Her “catch and shoot” with a hand in her face looked good, so did her baseline-to-baseline pressure on defense
