Oklahoma Class 5A Players on the Rise

Today we look at some good looking players in Class 5A basketball in Oklahoma. Lawton’s Eisenhower has a trio of stars in [player_tooltip player_id="160461" first="Ky’lan" last="Seaton"],  Olivia Choney, and [player_tooltip player_id="160451" first="Kelvianna" last="Sanders"]. <strong> Maraia Owens, 5-4, SG/PG, 2022, Carl Albert </strong>Owens is one of those players that you see making plays all over the court. She is a fine shooter that is among the best from 8-10 feet out. Owens is a scrappy defender and playmaker that can make it hard on the player she is guarding to find a way to score.  She is a good looking super sophomore for Carl Albert. <strong>Telicia Taylor, 5-8, 2021, Carl Albert </strong>You have to really like the low post game that Taylor brings to the Carl Albert offense.  A proven finisher around the goal and a player that puts herself in a good spot to make plays and score. She is also one of the better rebounders in Oklahoma and a player that is hard to defend against down low. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="160461" first="Ky’lan" last="Seaton"], 5-5, PG/SG, 2022, Lawton Eisenhower @KySeaton </strong>A multifaceted player in the 2022 class that can make it happen off the dribble, can drive and score or pull up with a great shot. Seaton is one of the more impressive players that can be all over the court on both ends. She is a great active mover that uses footwork to extend her game beyond the average player, one of a kind talent for sure. <strong>Olivia Choney,  5-5, SG, 2022, Lawton Eisenhower @choney_olivia </strong>We can’t say enough about just how much young talent is on this Eisenhower club and Choney is no exception. She is another fine shooting threat outside that can light it up. Choney is a great driver to the basket and a player that is one of the key role players on one of the deepest teams in Oklahoma.  She is for sure a player to know and watch in the future. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="160451" first="Kelvianna" last="Sanders"], SF, 2022, Lawton  Eisenhower</strong> You would be hard pressed to find a player in the class of 2022 in Oklahoma that can do as many things as Sanders does.  She is a very consistent player that is not afraid to take a charge and step up to help her team and force key turnovers to change the pace and flow of the game. Sanders has one of the nicest looking shots you will find as well, really makes it look easy.  We look for her to keep rising through the ranks as one of the elite prospects in the Oklahoma 2022 class.
