About Kennedi

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play hard on both ends of the floor and try to use my size, speed, and skills to help my team in every way I can. I like pushing the pace, rebounding, defending, and making plays for my teammates, and I’m always working to get better every day.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I try to stay humble, work hard, and be a good teammate every day. I listen to my coaches, encourage my teammates, and focus on getting better instead of just getting credit. I believe in playing the right way, giving my best effort, and letting my game speak for me.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

No

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I try to be a good teammate and leader by encouraging everyone, working hard in practice, and setting a positive example on and off the court. Being named a varsity captain as an 8th grader taught me to listen, communicate, and make sure everyone feels valued. I volunteer every year at my dad’s Kenneth A. Harris Memorial Foundation golf tournament &Toys for Tots.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to play for the University of South Carolina because I love how they play the game and the culture Coach Staley has built. They play hard, together, and with a lot of discipline and toughness on defense, which is how I try to play too. Coach Staley inspires me because she cares about her players as people, not just athletes, and pushes them to be their best on and off the court.
