<p>Two of the top teams in the state hooked up on Monday night as Lee's Summit West paid a visit to Staley in a battle of Kansas City teams that had identical 22-2 records.</p>

<p>Visiting Lee's Summit West was up to the task in the first half as it lead by as many as eight points and took a 29-25 lead into the locker room at halftime.</p>

<p>In the second half, Staley flipped the script as it flexed its power to outscored the Titans and take a 63-45 victory. The Falcons opened the second half on a 14-2 spurt and they were off an running to a conference championship that was clinched tonight.</p>

<p>The 6'0 2026 Nebraska recruit scored a team high 18 points. She really took over the game in the third quarter as she scored repeatedly in the lane on offense and retreated back to gets steals and rebounds on defense. She seemed to be everywhere on the court. Her size, versatility and motor make her one of the best players in the state.</p>

<p>The 2026 Missouri State recruit scored a game high 25 points as she was largely responsible for the Titans halftime lead. She scored 15 points in the half and hit three of her five 3-pointers. She was also breaking down defenders with her quickness to score in the lane and set up teammates with nifty passes.</p>

<p>The 5'9 2026 Arizona State recruit scored 16 points while playing an outstanding floor game. When she gets to her dominant left hand, she was tough to stop on the downhill drive. She also hit a pull up jumper in the lane and a 3-pointer from the corner. She was also very disruptive and tenacious on the defensive end, which is a constant.</p>

<p>The 5'11 2028 forward scored 15 points while displaying a nice blend of power and finesse in the paint. It was fun watching her battle against 6'3 [player_tooltip player_id='803061' first='Destiny' last='Manyawu'] of Staley inside. Her footwork was good and she has a nice touch around the basket. D sad he also made some nice catches on the roll down for a couple of buckets.</p>
