About Jocelyn

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a shy person but once I get to know people and get out of my shell, I become more comfortable and begin talking more often.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

My eighth grade year I was awarded my NJHS (National Juniors Honors Society) certificate and pin. My freshman year I was awarded a certificate of academic achievement for earning a 4.0 gpa.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I volunteer at my church working in the children’s area, and I have volunteered for freed my starving children. I am always cheering my teammates on and laughing with them to get them in a better mood.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Trying to stay out of my head and focus on playing my game and not letting my mistakes define me.
